What Do YOU Want?

Hey everyone!

So we have a little less than a month to go before I return to Florida for another Disney Culinary Program and then this blog really gets going! I want to make more posts but not sure where to start, there are so many I could do! So help me out! What topic do you want to see written about next? Is there a certain area you want more information about? Any pictures you'd like to see? You name it!

Leave what you want the next post to be about in the comments below and stay tuned my friends!

  1. Ever bake any really cool Wedding Cakes? And how the guests at the wedding will really enjoy having the cake and their wedding at Disney?

    1. Unfortunately no I have not, my location didn't do wedding cakes. and with Disney, they have an established teams for wedding cakes so it would be hard for an inter to work on them. A lot of them come from the Grand Floridian since the wedding pavilion is on property there. and I have yet to hear complaints about Disney weddings and wedding cakes! They work very hard to pay attention to every detail and make it magical and less of a stress on you. A great look into Disney wedding's is with my favorite wedding planner, David Tutera and the Disney Wedding's Youtube page! https://www.youtube.com/user/DisneyWeddings

  2. As a culinary grad currently on his CP, I'm interested to see how a second goes for you. I specialize in desserts and basic dinners, but interested in seeing.

Really hoping you get BoG as I've run into quite a few CP's who currently do.

Also, where are you hoping for?

    1. Oh! Where did you graduate from? I'm a rising senior at Johnson & Wales University in Providence. and yes, me too! I did my first internship last year at the Polynesian Resort and this year I'm doing it in Epcot so I will get to compare not only program vs program but working in a resort vs for a park. I will definitely be going into it in detail when I start in July so stay tuned for all of that!

and I was placed in my interview so I knew when I walked out the door. I will be working for Epcot's main bakery (it's backstage somewhere) and then come the fall I will be switching to the Food & Wine Festival bakery. I do know someone doing theirs at BoG though and I've heard good things!

  3. Hi!

I've been following your blog for a while reading the updates and all. I got accepted into the ICP for Jan 2014. I was wondering if you were able to finish off your posts about the apartments? I know you went in depth into Patterson but are you able to do so for the others? It's alright if you can't! :) I've just been hearing mix messages about each place.
    Thanks!

P.S. So cool that you get to bake for Disney! The cakes, pastries etc look so nice!

    1. Well thanks for following and congratulations! The reason I had such an in depth post about Patterson is because that's where I lived so those were my personal pictures and information. but yes, I definitely plan on doing separate posts about each complex! I just have to go snooping around for pictures and what not :) I'm also going to be asking my other blog for their input on each complex to incorporate into my blog so definitely stay tuned!
